Update: [22^nd Jan. ‘06] Watch out for updates regarding how I am doing with these.

“Resolutions are made on the last day of the year, and thrown out on the first day of the next” . However, this will not prevent me from making resolutions which I know I will not be able to keep up. Here goes the list:
[1] Try to lose atleast 15lbs before the middle of 2006 [Haven’t joined a gym yet and still eating like a pig]. This can be done by going on a diet (and by that I mean starving) or by physical exertion.
[2] Try to keep in regular touch with friends no matter how busy the schedule is. One way to kick start is by not appearing invisible on Y!M. It’s going to be a start, but again remember it’s only a resolution
[3] Try to wash my car (the poor baby) atleast once a month. If not wash it by myself, atleast get it washed. On the cleanliness note, try to keep the house relatively clean all the time as opposed to waiting till it is too messy. [washed her Jan 22]
[4] Try not to work on the weekends (even though I love what I do, I need a life outside of it) [Read this]
[5] Try to update this website on a regular basis. Think of something to post on the site as you sit in the car waiting for the bumper to bumper traffic to inch along. [stuttering along, but better than latter half of ‘05]
[6] And above all, try to keep up the above resolutions atleast till the end of January ‘06. [Not going good]
[7] Try to keep the office desk clean and not cluttered with drawings inspite of the many projects being worked on.
That’s all folks. Good luck with trying to keep your resolutions. If it goes to the poopers, don’t feel bad ‘cos you have company.

As I sit and home with my head buried under a pillow partly due to shame and partly due to the fact that I can’t see us getting “vick”timised, I can’t help but write this post. The ACC championship final @ Jacksonville against Florida State could not have gone any worse. The Hokies football team is like the Indian cricket team, a team that can’t play under pressure. Mistakes made over and over again, failure to do the simple things right and then throwing away by trying something outrageous just to try to get back in the game.

What sucks most is that I will get to hear an earful on Monday when I go back to work. I heard a bunch after we lost miserably to Miami @ home. And when Miami lost to girls-school Georgia Tech, I could not keep my big mouth shut. Now I am going to get it all back on Monday considering I am the lone VT guy in a land of the CANES.

Sob ! Sob !

And I promise (the to-do list is getting longer every day) to have a new look to this website and post the pictures from the vacation (few of them are best I have ever shot) before we enter 2006.
